Hey all, just wanted to say I had a good time at RCR Saturday, even with the bad luck I had in the main. It was good to see everybody again and the track and facility look great. The program ran well and I was home around 10, everyone was happy.
We ran a 15 minute main as opposed to a 20 minute main for the buggy class. Will that be the standard length for the buggy main this year or was there some reason I'm not aware of that it was 15 minutes on Saturday? From the standpoint of electric eighth scale, it makes a big difference in what it takes from a batteries/motor/gearing standpoint to finish the race. I think most people would prefer a 15 minute main from the standpoint of running electric.
Look forward to getting back out to RCR soon. I'm putting together some stuff that's not so long in the tooth for next time.

Thanks Dan! It was a good race. I just drove nice clean laps. Mike you are going to have to come play at rcr now! Cameron, we went to 15 minute mains for the electric buggy. Last year buggy turnout was low and most Electrics couldn't make it 20, or didn't want to spend $200 on a battery that would go 20. I have $60 zippys for Ty that go 15 so its way cheaper and there is still a pit involved for everyone.

^ Russ I got plans this Sat but hope to make it in the next couple weeks.
Glad to see RCR is starting to make consideration for the growing electric crowd.

Congrats to Jeff Johnson and Allen Bachman on their impressive wins last night.
It was nice to see or friends from princeton and Kewanee again!
Lots of 1/10 scale sprint cars witch was fun to see, ironic though wolfman was not there as these guys would have had fun battling with him.
Mark Cooper thanks for running some of the races I enjoyed the night off! ;D
