Hey my name is Justin, I have been into RC for 20 years. I stopped the hobby about 5 years ago but I am wanting to get back into it. I live in bloomington and have never been to this track. It looks like a great track, my question is I am getting ready to purchase an RC and I was not sure what classes you guys race. I am between getting a 1/10th stadium truck or maybe get into 4x4 short course racing. Thank you

good question, we mostly have 8th scale buggy and truggy, short course and oval, nitro and electric, central r/c has some awesome deals on some used truggies at the moment. these classes always have a good turnout at rcr so you would have a class to race in. 10th scale not so much, I wish we did.

Thanks for the response. So with the short course is there a class for 4x4? Is it a stock spec or mod class if so? I will have to go check Central RC out this weekend

short course 4x4 is it's own class, and I think it's pretty much just an open class. I have run my losi scten nitro with electric, what ever you get Im sure you will be able to race with us. lot's of the guy's are going to be racing the losi 3.0 truggy this year.

I might get into 1/8th then. It would be awesome if people were interested in 10th stadium or buggy racing. Those are hard to beat for pure fun and good competition
